Write down the usable window
Record the date and time the departing guests are expected to leave and when the next guests expect access. Identify which times are confirmed and which are still being discussed. Do not count on a cleaner starting while guests or other contractors are still using the rooms.
A hypothetical host has a late-departure request and an early-arrival request for the same date. Those requests reduce the potential working window; neither should be accepted on the assumption that cleaning can be compressed.
Map the jobs that depend on one another
Cleaning may sit alongside owner tasks, maintenance visits, linen arrangements, and supply deliveries. Write down who is responsible for each job and which jobs must finish before another can begin. Laundry or restocking should not silently become the cleaner's responsibility because it appears on your timeline.
If a repair blocks a room, explain that before discussing the cleaning window. Ask what effect the restriction has on the proposed visit rather than assuming all work can proceed around it.
Get an appointment confirmed, not just requested
Send the property details, dates, known guest times, and requested scope to Lamarks. Ask whether the arrangement is available and what still needs to be settled. Laura and Marcelo confirm availability personally; the quote form is not a booking calendar.
Keep the confirmation with the version of the plan it relates to. If the date, guest times, or work changes afterward, ask whether the arrangement still works. An earlier discussion does not establish availability for a revised request.
Choose a contact for changes and exceptions
Decide who will handle a delayed departure, an unexpectedly heavy clean, or a maintenance issue. That person should be reachable through the communication method agreed for the job and able to make decisions about the property.
Avoid leaving arrival promises dependent on an unanswered message. Discuss a fallback with whoever manages the reservation, including how guests would be updated if the property cannot be prepared in the intended window. This is planning advice, not a Lamarks delay-response commitment.
Separate cleaning completion from the full guest handoff
A finished clean does not, by itself, confirm that repairs, supplies, linen arrangements, or guest communication are complete. Identify who decides the property is ready and what information they need. Ask separately about any reporting or inspection you want from a provider.
Keep sensitive entry and alarm information out of the public quote form. Once an arrangement is agreed, discuss how any necessary access details should be shared privately.
Questions you may have
Can I assume a same-day changeover is available?
No. Share the date, guest times, property, and work required. Same-day availability and the workable arrangement need personal confirmation.
How long should I allow for cleaning?
There is no single duration stated here. Ask about your actual layout, condition, scope, and constraints rather than choosing a window from bedroom count alone.
What if a guest changes their departure time?
Contact the provider through your agreed channel and ask whether the visit needs to change. Update the turnover plan and any affected arrival arrangements instead of assuming the original window holds.
